Our two collections include The Charms Collection & The Black Nights Collection.
The Black Nights Collection was inspired by our designer, Kiralee McNamara’s Great Grandmother’s Art Deco Jewellery from the 1920’s. These pieces were fashioned from gold with semi-precious stones in crescent shapes.
The second collection for SS16, The Charms Collection which was inspired by the idea of story telling through the collection of things while traveling to far flung places. Kiralee then combined this love of collecting and storytelling to celebrate special events in life. This collection includes a range of charms to celebrate occasions of love, life and travel to create bespoke pieces for that special person in your life or yourself.
We needed to find somewhere that showed the inspiration of the two collections as well as the lifestyle Murkani represents. We decided on the Greenhouse garden style studio to showcase the Charms Collections’ travel and whimsical flare as the lighting is so beautiful. We went for a more casual, everyday wardrobe to compliment this easy to wear collection.
The Black Nights Collection was shot in the more sophisticated, gorgeous French-Colonial style HCMC Museum. This venue is vintage faded glamour at its best. Perfect for our Black Nights feel.
